Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) mixed seafood (such as shrimp, scallops, and white fish), peeled and deveined
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chicken or seafood broth
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) white wine
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) butter
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. Prepare the Seafood
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant.
  • Add the mixed seafood to the skillet and cook until just opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
