PURPLE VELVET CAKE

PROCEDURE:

Preheat the oven 350′ F

Grease and line two 9inch round cake pans with parchment paper, grease the parchment paper and dust with cocoa powder

Sift the dry ingredients, flour,cocoa powder, baking powder,baking soda and salt in a clean bowl

In a separate bowl, beat the butter for about 5 minutes until soft and light

Add the sugar and beat together until its light and fluffy

Add the eggs one at a time while beating together to incorporate

Add the vanilla

Divide the buttermilk add in the vinegar and purple food coloring in to one

Divide the dry ingredients into three parts and alternate with tge buttermilk mixture

After the ingredients is exhausted, thereby forming a smooth batter

Pour into an already prepared pans/tins and bake for 25-30 minutes until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean

Bring out and allow to cool completely before bringing out of the pans
